In the world of Destiny 2, the Moon has very much been off limits to Guardians. After the events of the first game and following the Red War, the Vanguard has placed a global no-fly-zone over the Moon, and with the release of Shadowkeep, Destiny 2’s next major expansion, we’re about to find out why.

In an upcoming series of posts here on No Escape, we’re going to dive into the complex lore and storylines converging on Shadowkeep. We’ll look into the Hive, Eris Morn, the Hidden, and even Fenchurch Everis as we try to make sense of this impending DLC. We’ll explore our previous journey into the Hellmouth during the Fall of Crota campaign. And we’ll tie it all into the current story and speculate on how Shadowkeep might fit in the impending war against the Darkness.

Stay tuned and watch this space for updates!
